My name is Dr. Belisa. My passion for helping parents with children who have autism was confirmed when my own son was diagnosed with autism in late 2019......
As a Physical Therapist I made sure my children were hitting milestones physically, however when growing concerns arose about my son's lack of speech my husband and I decided to start him early with speech and occupational therapy to address his problem areas.
Autism can affect a child's movement as well, however because of my knowledge as a physical therapist my son was able to develop normally in this area.

What Is Pediatric Physical Therapy? 

Pediatric physical therapy involves early intervention which provides therapy services to children between the ages of 0-3 yrs of age. Studies have shown that early intervention can help a child catch up to his/her peers when a developmental delay is present. School based physical therapy involves providing services to children in preschool to age 21. These services focus on the preservation of mobility, flexibility, and strength when physical and developmental disabilities are present.

​Why Fee For Service?

A fee for service model allows me to keep costs down by providing quality one on one time with your child without all the state and insurance restrictions. If you feel you child could benefit from more therapy but the schools can't provide it due to lack of funding or therapist availability, then let me help you consider other options.

​Why Mobile Therapy? 

Mobile therapy is a great option for homeschooling/cyber school students . It helps eliminate traveling to busy clinics especially when there is extensive equipment involved.  Does your child have a favorite playground? With mobile therapy I can meet your child at the playground and teach both you the parent and your child how to access the equipment safely while strengthening. 

Why Concierge Therapy?

Let's face it children will be children and injuries are bound to happen. Often times there is a waiting period to get in to see the Dr. and get a diagnosis just so they can tell you to get therapy. What if you could skip all that and call your therapist right away to address any issues that arise? My concierge model allows parents to pay a monthly membership for priority services available to the whole family.
